Children's Literature Review: This is a Level I book from the "Scholastic's Readers" series. Pages are filled with colorful objects where the reader must match the pictures from the riddle to the pictures in the photograph. It is a delightful way to learn rhyming sounds. It also draws the child's attention to words that have the same letters in them. Children can read this book on their own or share it with a friend. The author organizes this book in such a way that it offers many opportunities for a child to achieve reading success. The last 8 pages of the book have specific directions for the child to follow in identifying specific words, and on the last page, there is a timed activity to aid the reader in sentence fluency.
