Welcome to Borders in East Liberty/Shadyside, the heart of Eastside, Pittsburgh! Adjacent to Whole Foods, we are central to the cultural and antique district of the city with plentiful parking. We are conveniently located near Children's Hospital, Shadyside UPMC and West Penn.

Be sure to visit our "All Things Local" section on the 1st floor and ask for a cookbook from the hottest chef in the neighborhood, a local musician or great sports and college information. Events are always an important part of your experience at this location. We host the Eastside Poetry Gathering on the third Saturday of every month, which features literary and spoken word guests such as Thomas Lehner, Judith Robinson and Lewis Colyar. The mic is always open for the last hour, so you never know who will stop in and make an appearance.
