Welcome to Borders in Dickson City, PA. 

We are perched next to the Viewmont Mall on the immediate outskirts of Scranton and on the edge of the Pocono Mountains. No matter the season, we are a refuge for locals as well as tourists camping in the summer, relishing fall foliage tours or skiing and snow boarding in winter.

Most of the customers that try our cafe become immediately hooked by our welcoming, cheerful, and sometime super sized personalities (stop in to meet our latest coffee expert Jason to see what I mean!) For music just ask for Bruce, a seven year vet with us and one of the most encyclopedic minds for pop/rock that you're ever going to meet anywhere. If you are on a quest for science fiction/fantasy our store now boasts at least six members of the Society for Creative Anachronism to cross swords with, including Sir Scott, who alone has more than 20 years of bookselling experience under his scabbard. If you are thinking food, think Frank. He's a former Seattle's Best Coffee trainer and hard core Martha Stewart devotee, who can recommend books, share recipes, and guide you to the best foody places around!
