Greetings from Borders Goleta

Hi, I'm Mysteen Scheid, General Manager of Borders Books and Music here in beautiful Goleta, California.

We here in Goleta have been serving this community and the Central Coast since 2000. We are located just minutes from the lovely University of California, Santa Barbara in the beautiful Camino Real Marketplace. Our diverse staff reflects our community of families, academics, students, book lovers, music lovers, coffee lovers, and fun lovers. We are proud to offer Seattle's Best Coffee in our cafe where we have comfortable seating and a wonderful atmosphere for hanging out, studying, or hosting a book club!

We have added some wonderful new things by customer demand including an expanded Children's department with more books and lots of toys and games, as well as a Biography section! From our Parent and Teacher Educator workshop to our newly expanded Young Adult and Manga shop, we have something to tickle the needs and imagination for everyone!

For the young ones, we host Goleta Storytime every Sunday at 11:00 AM where you can bring the kids for a lively reading of classic and modern children's tales and some yummy snacks to tide them over.
