Welcome to the quaint Maine town of Brunswick!

The cozy town of Brunswick, Maine is found just off scenic route 1, making it a convenient stop on your journey to summer on Maine's gorgeous coastline.  We are in the neighborhood of Bowdoin College and you can find us directly across the street from Naval Air Station Brunswick in Merrymeeting Plaza.

Our location makes us a popular stop of authors of military related titles, both fiction and non-fiction.  If all things military is your idea of a good read, allow us to introduce you to something new.  Time your visit right and you just might find one of these authors here to greet you personally.  And if your timing is off, don't worry; many times these friendly authors leave some signed copies behind.

Recommendations are our specialty!  Our staff is ready, willing, and able to assist you in choosing a great beach read or a gift for someone special.  We take pride in our "All Things Local" section were you are sure to discover that hidden local gem.  Journey towards the back of the store and you will find an engaging selection of books, games, activities, and more for the kids; guaranteed to keep them busy on those long, warm days.  While you are there, stop by the movie section.  Though we do our best to keep the rain at bay, should you find it arriving during your stay, a great movie will chase your blues away.

Before you head back out onto the open road swing by our Seattle's Best Coffee® cafe for a cool, refreshing iced coffee and a sweet treat.  Our Beach House blend brews the best iced coffee around but it's only here for a short time so don't miss it.  We promise you won't regret it!
