Borders Store

A message from Madison's west side location Michael Chaim

We want to thank you for visiting our web site, and for visiting our store as well -- whether you've already done so, or whether you'll be coming by because you've seen us online.  Since we opened on University Avenue in 1992, we've tried to bring to Madison a comfortable place where you can browse for the best in books -- new or old -- and where we can share with you what we're reading, as well.  We take care to highlight a wide range of interesting books on our front tables, many of them fascinating but unusual.  We'll also tell you what we're watching or listening to, from our large assortment of movies and music.  Our Seattle's Best Coffee cafe, the most recent addition to our store, offers food and drinks that keep the staff happy...and that you'll like as well.  You can even sit outdoors when the weather's nice...or if you're just a hardy soul!  We hope you'll come by and visit us.
