Welcome To Borders Mount Kisco.

In our fast changing cultural world our staff celebrates books everyday. Every time we find a book we love we want to share it with our customers. If you're looking for a wonderful read, ask for Sean Carroll one of our managers who has been with Borders for 9 years. 

Sean is obsessed with books, he loves the power of the written word. Seans latest staff selection is Sorrows Of An American by Siri Hustvedt. Her new novel opens with the discovery of a mysterious letter by Inga & Erik Davidsen amongst their father's papers. This missive inaugurates the "year of secrets" that threaten to capsize the lives of loved ones. Hustvedt builds on the themes of earlier work while crafting a haunting narrative populated by the ghosts that echo and define family throughout generations.

Our children's department has a Kid-tastic hour of songs and stories featuring our popular Miss Rhea on the guitar and vocals. This hour is perfect for children 5 and under. Join us every Friday at 11:00 am. If you need help finding a children's book, please ask for  Kathleen Kean who has been a children bookseller with Borders for 7 years, and a Preschool teacher for 20 years. Kathleen is loved by all of our customers and offers wonderful recommendations.
