A welcome from the General Manager
Welcome to Borders Midtown! Our store is located on the southwest corner of Dodge Street & 72nd Street, one of the busiest intersections in Omaha, if not in the entire state of Nebraska! Just down the street from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, the Dundee neighborhood, our customers are an eclectic mix of scholars, students and business-savvy browsers. Our staff members are students, musicians, artists, actors, and teachers. We all share a passion for books, music, movies and coffee. We've hosted wonderful events, including Quincy Jones, Rita Mae Brown, Laura Schlessinger, Ariana Huffington, Alex Kava (an Omaha native!), Clarence Thomas, Jim Brickman and Janet Evanovich.
