Welcome to Borders in Monroeville

We are neatly situated just 12 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh in the heart of the shopping district. Be sure to allow for extra time when visiting our store since we have the only Digital Center in western Pennsylvania, where you can mix and make your own cds, research your family tree, create a personalized photo books from your own digital photography. We also have a wide variety of electronic products including digital photo frames, the Sony E-Book reader, mp3 players and digital camcorders. Be sure to ask for Gary or Melissa the Digital specialists.

A little about our diverse staff, we have Jason, our own film maker and recording artist; Brian, a successful published author; John, the theatre director and actor; and Russ, our published film critic.

Be sure to stop by our Children's section of the store on Wednesday at 1:00 pm for story time where we provide snacks for all and enjoy a fabulous adventure with James our story teller.

Additionally we have a lively and diverse events program held in our cafe area, which also includes free coffee seminars every Thursday evening at 6:00 pm, where we sample and discuss coffee and taste the foods that enhance the flavor of it. Please join us and complete your own coffee passport.
