We will refund your online purchase if you:

• Return new books, unopened CDs, and DVDs in their original condition.
• Include your packing slip and completed returns form.
• Return within 30 days of the shipment date listed on your packing slip.
• Ship all returns using the pre-printed label included with the packing slip.

Note:

• Shipping charges are not refundable.
• Gift cards are nonrefundable and are not redeemable for cash.
• Returns made to Borders.com will be refunded in the form of the original payment method.

Returning online orders to your local Store

Customers may return items purchased online to any Borders, Borders Express, Waldenbooks, or Borders Outlet location in the United States.

You will receive a return gift card equal to the value of your online purchase when you:

• Return new books, unopened CDs, and DVDs in their original condition.
• Present your packing slip.
• Present items to the store within 30 days from the shipment date listed on your packing slip.

Returning an online Gift order

If you receive an order as a gift and wish to return it, you may do so within 30 days of the ship date. You have two options for returning the merchandise.

To return the merchandise online, fill out the returns form included with the order and attach the return shipping label provided. Orders returned online will be credited to the purchaser.

You may also return or exchange the merchandise at any Borders, Borders Express, Waldenbooks, or Borders Outlet location in the United States. You will receive a store credit equal to the amount of the merchandise for any store return. For information on the store nearest you, please visit our Store Locator.
